Dan Sheehan awarded Songwriter of the Year at Elephant Talk Indie Music Awards

At the 2019 Elephant Talk Indie Music Awards on December 21st, Dan was named Overall Songwriter of the Year, the highest songwriting award given.  Elephant Talk is a South New Jersey based music organization hosting benefit concerts in the South Jersey region.

Dan has performed solo and with band at past events.  Elephant Talk is headed by Jerry Ryan, who also is on-air talent at WLFR-FM radio in Pomona, NJ, where both Tales from Earth Incorporated and Are You Conspirienced? charted at #1.

The award was given to Dan on the basis of Tales from Earth Incorporated, released in 2019.  The album aired on radio throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and at select stations in Asia, South America and Australia.  Sheehan’s 2019 tour dates in the U.S., U.K. and Spain featured many of the songs from TFEI as well as from Dan Sheehan Conspiracy and Banter albums.
