New single “Dam That River” to help displaced indigenous Brazilians

All profits from sales of the new single “Dam That River” from the forthcoming album Tales from Earth Incorporated will go to charities dedicated to helping the rainforests of the world and their inhabitants.  “Dam That River” is a song about the threat to indigenous Brazilians of the Amazon basin by for-profit projects being implemented on their ancestral lands which are causing displacement and disruption to the tribes’ means of living.  Proceeds will go to Survival International.

This movement is in response to the newly elected president of Brazil pledging to force the tribes to modernize or otherwise “disappear.”
